As usual the Largest Pike and Pickerel will receive 1st and 2nd Place with Trophy and cash
respectively.

Please note that we will be clipping tails of weighed in fish for fairness, unless you wish to live release
at the weigh in. A hole will be drilled.

We can only weigh in one pickerel over 18" per person as per MNR zone 18 regulations.

The ever popular kids category is of course the thing we want to keep going strong above all else.
Apparently people agree with our goal to introduce youth to fishing and the outdoors in general as we
have received some much appreciated donations for these youngsters from individual supporters.
Again this year the top special prizes for the kids will be drawn from all their fish weighed in, but as you
know we aim to see no children leave empty handed.

Food !!! What tastes better than food cooked outdoors. Our team of culinary chefs (Trappers) will be
again cooking up fries, burgers, and dogs for your pleasure at a price that won't break the bank.
Come and enjoy. We will also have a Bon Fire, with free marshmallows and hot chocolate for the
youngsters from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Our day draw this year will be for a trail camera and an automobile GPS. You will win both on one
draw. Remember the more day tickets you buy the better your chances.

The 50/50 draw, what can we say, last years winner took home $600.00 cash. We will be travelling
the lake again this year selling tickets but there are always a few people the guys miss so remember to
get your tickets at the weigh in station.

				Welcome to our 7th annual Big Gull lake Fishing derby. This year the derby will be on Saturday Feb. 25, 2012. We are constantly trying to improve the derby, not only to be bigger but to keep the family and fun aspect intact. This year the top prize from all tickets purchased will be a 3000 watt generator or $400.00 cash. (The or cash is new.) Also remember that the 40 or more other random prizes, many of which are donated by local business are also included in the all tickets purchased draw. These will be drawn and posted throughout the afternoon with the top prize being drawn in the evening.
