promoting Trapping and Conservation and being the local voice for the  
Trappers of the Frontenac - Addington Area

Community Involvement
The Frontenac - Addington Trappers Council is very community involved.  
We sponsor the Pine Meadow Nursing home Golf Tournament, C.O.F.A
Deer Contest, Anglers and  Hunters programs, School programs and
Bursarys, Walleye spawning beds, Public Education and Workshops and
Donate to many worthy local charitable groups.  

Trappers Heritage Award : This award is presented to the students who we
as   trappers, outdoorsmen, and true conservationists feel will carry into the
future our  strong commitment to the conservation and wise use of all our
Natural Resources. We are very pleased to Congratulate our winners to

In 2011/2012 we launched a Young Trapper Scholarship Program  to provide
financial assistance for students to enrolled in the Fur Harvest, Fur
Management and Conservation Courses.
